    OPITAC™ Glutathione is the manufactured form of glutathione, a tripeptide formed from glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine, and naturally produced by the body. OPITAC™ Glutathione is the world’s only glutathione that has been notified to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as GRAS (the indication of safety as a food ingredient). OPITAC™ Glutathione is derived from torula yeast, which is also approved by the U.S. FDA as edible yeast.

  • What is the raw material of OPITAC™ Glutathione?

    Torula yeast. OPITAC™ Glutathione is derived from torula yeast (candida utilis) as a product of its natural fermentation process. Torula yeast is designated GRAS by the FDA (Federal regulation code 172.896). In Germany it was approved as a food in 1920.

  • What is the recommended dosage of OPITAC™ Glutathione?

    At least 100, and up to 500, milligrams daily, depending on the application and regulations applying in each country. Please contact us for more information.
